The Save Seaton Pool campaign asks visitors to this website to email or write to the Board of the Regional Development Agency. We suggest that some questions that could be asked of the Board are:-
- Why can the RDA not offer to renew the lease on the Seaton Pool, especially if there are no immediate plans to develop the area?
- Has the RDA realised the damage to its reputation the alliance with and support to Plymouth City Council is causing in the matter of the proposed closure of Seaton Pool?
- Why is the RDA not showing the "truth" on its website? It seems that only positive news gets onto the RDA website. We would suggest that the RDA shows the world and its employees what people really think of it. For example, the magnificent piece written by Mary O’Leary in the Evening Herald on December 1st 2005 (see news page for the article) should be posted on their website.
- Why can this website not be on the "links" page of the RDA website? We are, after all, partners and have put an RDA website link on our site.
- Why does there seem to be next no mention of "people" on the the RDA website? It seems, the RDA is totally detached from reality and focuses on business potential rather than quality of life for the people of the region.
