A valuble resource for the people of Plymouth
There are some contrasts in this posting. First of we carry a piece from the Evening Herald that was written by Mary O’Leary. In it she bemoans the lack of swimming facilities in Plymouth. Yes, just about right there. Mary also takes to task the South West Regional Destruction Agency for knocking down Seaton Pool and Plymouth City Council about the never ending stream of swimming strategies and the mythical life centre that never seems to get very far. Yes, just about right again but it does keep PCC employees busy.
The next item is how the 10 Downing Street website has a petition on that is dedicated to saving local pools. Go and try it, sign the petition and keep your fingers crossed.

However, do not be too hopeful. When you actually get hold of him and ask about Seaton pool face to face, the answer is “Nothing to do with me (but I am extremely concerned)”.
