Can you believe it?

Luckily, the Department for Communities and Local Government has come to the aid of Seaton Pool. In accordance with the latest consultation document issued by the DCLG, planning permission is to be required to knock down, or change the use of any Sport and leisure building or facility. At the moment this document is out for consultation but we believe that the SWRDA is morally bound as a Government funded organisation to adhere to the new requirements from the date of issue. If not, the SWRDA will be able destroy many more valuable buildings in the South West before the regulations come into force. Any attempt by the SWRDA to knock down Seaton Pool now would be cowardly in the extreme and would be solely to avoid their responsibilities to the people of Plymouth. Follow the links below:-
