Keep on Whingeing

Just like (The George Park and Ride?) buses, after a dearth of coverage, there was a flurry of stories in the Evening Herald on the 26-5-06. The Life Centre campaign continues in the Herald. Again, we say it will be brilliant, but if Plymouth needs so much swimming pool water surface area in 2010, how can we survive with so little now?

The first story below is a selection of letters published in the Evening Herald on the 26-5-06.

The second story below is again from the Evening Herald on the 26-5-06 and covers the hopes for Tinside pool for this Summer’s season (probably a massive loss that would have kept Seaton going for years).

The third link below is coverage of the ongoing discussions for swimming pool provision in the north of Plymouth. We really believe that Tudor Evans chap, don’t we? Nothing to do with the forthcoming Southway by-election, of course. Finally, and we must warn you that this item should only be read by adults with a strong constitution, we have a link to (what looks like) the un-edited version of the story above. Be prepared to be sickened by his comments. Obviously, the editor of the Evening Herald could not allow this to be printed.
