Save Seaton Pool

We will remember who caused Seaton Pool to close for no good reason. The SWRDA and Plymouth City Council should both be ashamed of their actions over the last 5 months. We will keep on reminding Plymouth City Council about the lack of swimming facilities in the city. Contained within the links below are promises of possibilities of 3 new pools for Plymouth (ho ho). All we want is one working pool now; Seaton will do. This what we had and what the council and SWRDA have taken away. However, also contained within one of the links Viv Pengelly is quoted as saying that if council control changes after the local elections in May, the SWRDA will be asked to allow Seaton to be re-opened.

We will also remember the last day at Seaton Pool and the “swim-in”. There has just been so much press coverage over the last few days that we will just publish links to all the stories. Thanks again to the Evening Herald.
