A valuble resource for the people of Plymouth
Well….What a turn out! Our people counting made it more than 250 people. More than 250 people turning up for a public meeting on a cold February evening is a pretty impressive show. How many more are standing behind and supporting those who could attend? Young people; older people; competitive swimmers; swimmers for health; swimmers for pleasure; PCC employees; Councillors. About the only identifyable group of Plymouth citizens that were missing were PCC Cabinet Members. The people attending were many, are angry and will be voters at their next local elections. Thanks yet again to the Evening Herald (apart from their counting) and here are the reproductions of the story, an Evening Herald editorial and the transcript of our medical advisor’s talk. At the bottom of this post is an example of the letters that should continue to be sent to PCC. It is best to use your own words though. The arguments continued on Thursday and Friday and on 3-2-06 the Evening Herald carried the story again, along with an editorial.
